Gas Distribution Program
Gas Distribution Program
Overlooked gas distribution system issues can result not only in loss of gases, but also in lost process efficiency, downtime, or safety hazards. When system operation is not intuitive, when leaks are a concern, or when your gas panels are difficult to service, it is time to take action to avoid compounding costs.

Gas Distribution Evaluation and Advisory
Through this program we can help you with a total evaluation of your current system including identifying leaking connections, suggestions to optimize layout and design, and proper product selection/specification - as well as offering a suite of fully assembled subsystems that are leak-tight, easily configurable, reliable, and backed by the Swagelok Limited Lifetime Warranty.
Gas Distribution Systems
To effectively deliver gases from a high-pressure source to the rest of the facility at the pressure and flow rate required by each application, systems are built around one or a series of pressure regulation steps and may include four typical subsystems:
- Source Inlet - establishes a connection between the gas source and the distribution system
- Gas Panel - primary gas pressure control, and is usually the first pressure regulation of the source gas
- Changeover - automatic switching from one gas source to another to ensure an uninterrupted supply
- Point-of-use - provides the critical last stage of pressure control prior to the gas being used
